Sadie found a wonderful home! Look at this little filly in last picture above, completely unbroke to standing and wearing tack like she has been doing it her whole life!
"Sadie" is a 3-4 yo apx 15.2hh filly, (likely unbroke) tb from the kill pen. No papers or tattoo but appears to be a TB. While her story is unknown Sadie has held on to nothing from her past and is ready to begin her new career! From the few months this girl has been at PARR, she has already picked up on common barn manners and is very sweet and gentle when she has that extra moment of attention! She is a very well mannered and beautiful young lady. She has been with PARR for a year since her rescue from a kill-pen at an auction. She is ready for someone with experience to start her towards a new career!
Turned out in a group of mares and nice around the barn.
We do not know her history, her breeding (assume she is a TB), she has no papers, no tattoo, etc.
Only for experienced owner who will be working with a professional/trainer to have her broke to ride and started.
We will be very selective with applications for this young lady.
She does not have papers, no tattoo, history and breeding is unknown
as she was pulled from an auction house kill pen in PA.
in hand walk/jog video will be done soon

Important Note About Meeting / Trying PARR Horses
PARR horses are not in active programs, they are waiting for their new homes to start their new jobs. They are often ridden once for a video and hanging out in field, stall at track, or being turned out at a foster farm the remainder of days while they wait to be adopted. Therefore, we do not allow PARR horses to be tried(ridden) for the best interest of the horse and liability risks for the owners, connections, trainers, etc. If a horse is new off the track, we may only adopt to an experienced rider, or capable rider working with a trainer. They will need to return to a program typical of a horse that is either just off the track or getting back into shape, from the ground up with your training methods. Most live at private farms that do not have arenas/riding areas. If we are able to haul a horse over to an indoor ring for an under saddle video we will, but that is dependent on the horse, schedule of foster home, and availability of a facility with an arena or place to ride. Shipping into a farm costs ring fees and sometimes expecting to pull a horse out of a field, haul them to a new place, hop on and expect them to knock our socks off is a lot to ask of a horse....but some of them do just that and those are the ones that sell fast, especially to those looking for great show-prospects for themselves or to bring along and sell down the road as an investment project. We can set up
appointments for you to meet the horses, see them move freely (or jog in hand), and vettings are welcome.
