Contact Us

Our program is run by various volunteers and team members. Your e-mails, messages, calls will be checked as frequently as possible. Please realize we process applications, check e-mails, and respond as quickly as possible. Due to us having full time jobs, we can not always do everything immediately.
Sending us an e-mail or private message through Facebook is the quickest way to connect.

We can be found on Facebook at www.facebook.com/PaRacehorse

Horses are generally at private farms or foster farms in PA and surrounding states. We do not have one specific facility, but do have our main Foster Farm that horses who are IN our program live until they are adopted.
Feel free to get in touch to inquire about meeting the PARR Listed or PARR Owned (Adoptable) horses!

PA Racehorse Rehoming,Rehabilitation, Rescue is a Federal 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Federal ID number: 66-0821935
whose Articles of Incorporation were filed with the State of Pennsylvania on May 9, 2014 (effective date of exemption) with
Public Charity Status 509(a)(2) under section 501(c)(3).
Contributions made to PARR are tax deductible. Our Letter of Determination
from the IRS was received on April 16, 2015 and any donations made after May 9th, 2014 may qualify for tax exemption.

Our Legal Name is "PA Racehorse Rehoming, Rehabilitation, & Rescue" and we often go by the abbreviated nickname "PARR". PARR operates  on a 100% volunteer basis with all proceeds going to our cause and the animals. Any and all items or monetary donations go directly to the expenses of supporting these animals. This includes veterinary expenses, transport, "pull" fees, food/boarding or stabling/supplies/etc, legal fees, advertising/event costs, merchandise expenses, website and technology fees etc. Individuals on the Board are not paid for their positions. We offer 100% transparency and are happy to answer any questions and provide all financial information at any time.
Our officers, directors, and volunteers take a neutral position with respect to the controversy associated with horse racing. Our efforts focus on the well being, re-homing, and education and support of ex-racehorses and finding them new careers after their racing careers have ended. We also support at-risk shelter dogs and occasional at-risk horses that end up neglected or in auction/slaughter situations when finances and abilities allow us to help. Any "listings" are simply to help network animals into new homes and we
can not be responsible for the representation of those animals.
