Meet Our Retired
PARR Permanent Residents...
The "Lifer's"
The following horses are listed as "lifers" with PARR. A few reasons could be ongoing health issues, injuries that need watched after on a daily basis, unsoundness yet to be determined, and unsoundness or behavioral issues that may make that horse unfit to be adopted at this time. We love our horses and always try to keep their well being and a future adopters well being in mind at all times.
As you may know, horses with any type of issue, tend to be very costly. We are so lucky to have a vet on our team, but we are always in need of monetary donations to cover their expenses (general care, hay, feed, blankets, vet, farrier..),
or items that are in usable condition such as: blankets, buckets, hay, grain, grooming supplies, fence boards/supplies, electric tape/solar chargers, hay nets/outdoor feeders, wraps/bandage supplies, treats, toys, etc.

. Mercury
Getting much needed R & R. He was retired from racing because of a cyst in his stifle. We will continue to evaluate him from time to time for soundness, etc. But for now he will be under our care as a "lifer"
