I, (Name submitted below in form), the undersigned, have read, understand and freely and voluntarily enter into this Release and Hold Harmless Agreement with PA Racehorse Rehoming, Rehabilitation, Rescue (501c3 non-profit), and all volunteers, employees, owners, connections, trainers, and those involved, understanding that this Release and Hold Harmless agreement is a waiver of any and all liabilities. I understand the potential dangers I could incur with approaching, handling, riding, boarding, and feeding horses and or dogs. This includes, but is not limited to, interactions between horses, people or animals. Understanding these risks I hereby release Hillcrest Meadow Farm, PARR, its employees and volunteers, owners and anyone else connected with Hillcrest Meadow Farm, PARR from any liability whatsoever in the event of injury or damage of any nature both personal or to property, including death, to me or anyone else that arises from my owning or approaching any horses on this Farm or any property we are on. This includes the owner of the horse, leasee/leasor, visitors, spectators, or other riders. I understand these animals are often ex-racehorses or rescued horses, rescued/ neglected /abused dogs and their prior history is not always known. PARR does not have the ability to test these animals with young children so adopters who wish to meet a PARR animals and adopt one, understands the risks with adopting an animal that may or may not have ever been around children. It is the Adopters responsibility to use their own judgement and be responsible parents to their children, teaching them good manners to animals and keeping their new animals separated from children until they feel they are acceptable to be aroun kids. Dogs can jump up with excitement and knock over children, scratch them, or accidently bite a child if they play too rough. If a child is hugging, grabbing, pulling, poking, teasing a dog, the dog could react in a negative way that could injure a child. By signing this agreement you as the adopter, owner, parent or relative of children under the age of 18 waive ALL LIABILITY TO PA RACEHORSE REHOMING, REHABILITATION, AND RESCUE. You are adopting an animal at your own risk. A rescued animal's history is unknown. Their future actions towards children is unknown. You will be responsible for all liability from this point forward for yourself and your children under 18 years of age. When adopting an animal from PARR, make sure your Homeowner's Insurance covers liability and injury to visitors at your home, and does not have breed restrictions. You are resonsible for your own insurance and the risk of others who come in contact with you dog. The same principal goes for horses in your care or owned by you. We suggest having personal insurance coverage for Equine Liability if you own a horse. Their behavior may be unpredictable. The volunteers do the best to properly analyze behavior and avoid injury but the horses and dogs actions can and will be unpredictable and could result in injury or damage. Ride, Pet, Groom, Kiss, Hug, Walk, etc at your own risk. This agreement covers any owners of property, horses, pets, Hillcrest Meadow / PARR, trainers, riders, employees, staff, spectators, or visitors from any liability. The facility in which a horse is located at, including any farms that the horse is hauled over to, or public or privately owned properties where a horse or dog is located are included in this release of liability for injury, damage, or death. You assume the risk of equine activities pursuant to Pennsylvania Equine Law. ...................................... If you have children that will be in contact with a PARR Horse or Dog either meeting the animal or you will be adopting the animal, list the names and ages of all children that will be in contact with this animal. You are waiving all liability from PARR for any chilrend under the age of 18. Anyone over the age of 18 must sign this agreement. Parents of children who are not your own must submit their own Liability Waiver Agreement with PARR. By stating YES and listing their names and ages, you are including them in this Waiver of Liability for PA Racehorse Rehoming, Rehabilitation, and Rescue. *
