Hot Stocker, aka "Flounder"
is currently entered in the
2016 RRP Makeover Event in Kentucky
to represent PA Racehorse Rehoming!
"Flounder" is starting his re-training with one of our PARR volunteers/team members who has entered him
into the RRP Makeover on behalf of PARR to represent our program. He is available for
adoption prior to the makeover if the perfect home comes along.
His adoption fee (inquire) will increase as his training continues on his journey to the RRP MAKEOVER! He will w/t/c, and has been started over jumps. He has a wonderful personality, 100% sound, and ready to go in any direction. Whether that be 4H, trail riding partner, hunter/jumper, etc. Do not pass this handsome guy up!

Important Note About Meeting / Trying PARR Horses
PARR horses are not in active programs, they are waiting for their new homes to start their new jobs. They are often ridden once for a video and hanging out in field, stall at track, or being turned out at a foster farm the remainder of days while they wait to be adopted. Therefore, we do not allow PARR horses to be tried(ridden) for the best interest of the horse and liability risks for the owners, connections, trainers, etc. If a horse is new off the track, we may only adopt to an experienced rider, or capable rider working with a trainer. They will need to return to a program typical of a horse that is either just off the track or getting back into shape, from the ground up with your training methods. Most live at private farms that do not have arenas/riding areas. If we are able to haul a horse over to an indoor ring for an under saddle video we will, but that is dependent on the horse, schedule of foster home, and availability of a facility with an arena or place to ride. Shipping into a farm costs ring fees and sometimes expecting to pull a horse out of a field, haul them to a new place, hop on and expect them to knock our socks off is a lot to ask of a horse....but some of them do just that and those are the ones that sell fast, especially to those looking for great show-prospects for themselves or to bring along and sell down the road as an investment project. We can set up
appointments for you to meet the horses, see them move freely (or jog in hand), and vettings are welcome.
